There is nothing wrong with that :)
I love that V40 wagon. In the US, we only got the 160-hp 1.9T

I recently tested a v70r. It was a p.o.s. I’m sure the right one is great. This was not that

Nah, the V70R is not what you want. You want the 850R.

well, now that I’m thinking about it, the S40 had a salvage title and high mileage. So its possible that it was involved in an accident early in its life. The rattling came from the sunroof. As for The vibrations in the car, I have no clue; if it came from the automatic transmission you’ll be fine.

Most early 2000s Volvos seem to rattle. My dad’s 2001 V70 does (although it does have 205K hard miles on it) though my ‘05 V50 does not, so I think by the new generations on the P1 and later P2-P3 platforms Volvo resolved those problems....

Super cool! My Korean aunt has one that I think she’s liked pretty well, though an automatic...she wants to trade up to a luxury CUV now though, since literally every Korean middle aged woman in the area has one...therefore, I’m trying to steer her towards the XC60 although she seems to like the X3 quite well...no objections there, as long as she doesn’t get the all too ubiquitous Lexus RX...
